Director of human capital and industrial relations

Miralis is thriving; the company has recently launched operations in two new kitchen manufacturing plants (cabinets and countertops), in addition to its first plant. The company is experiencing significant growth and is committed to maintaining healthy labor relations throughout its development and product diversification projects. Here, the Director of Human Capital and Industrial Relations is involved from the very beginning and is expected to act proactively. We are looking for a leader who anticipates challenges rather than someone who picks up the pieces after the fact.

We are looking for someone who recognizes the human aspect behind the laws and ensures compliance with standards in a thoughtful and sensitive manner. We need a guardian of legal best practices who enjoys sharing knowledge and serving as a guide for both their team and managers. This position requires in-person work in Saint-Anaclet.

Leading a team of three, the Director of Human Capital and Industrial Relations will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a human resources expert within the company, particularly for the operational management team, and providing daily support to managers and team members;
  • Implementing recruitment and talent retention initiatives in collaboration with the Human Capital Coordinator;
  • Managing immigration cases for team members;
  • Proactively maintaining positive labor relations;
  • Managing grievance resolutions;
  • Ensuring the application of the collective agreement and preparing for its renewal;
  • Overseeing internal equity, compensation strategies, and job classification management;
  • Safeguarding performance evaluation systems;
  • Analyzing HR indicators and generating reports for management;
  • Developing and supervising the compensation policy;
  • Conducting necessary medical and administrative follow-ups in collaboration with an external firm.
