Reflections on KBIS 2025 – The Miralis Experience in Las Vegas

Last week, from February 25 to 27, we had the pleasure of participating in the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, a cornerstone event in our industry. Our goal was to showcase our expertise and craftsmanship in making sustainable, custom-designed furniture that combines contemporary design with timelessness.

Mission Impossible Made Possible

Naturally, an 1800 square foot booth featuring three large kitchens and two back kitchens required several days of preparation. In less than seven days, our setup team transformed more than 50 crates of materials into a captivating booth that truly wowed attendees.

A Booth that Embodies Our Philosophy

For KBIS 2025, our vision was to create a booth that not only demonstrates our expertise in custom furniture and countertops but also reflects our commitment to sustainability. We designed an entirely modular space, with the intention to reuse every element, from the cabinetry to the countertops, right through to the walls. This thoughtful approach ensures that our booth is not just a temporary showcase but a lasting investment that endures well beyond the event.

Our Booth: Three Ambiances, Three Distinct Designs

The Bas-Saint-Laurent Kitchen

Located at the entrance of the south pavilion of the event, our booth captured the attention and welcomed visitors with its large windows offering a breathtaking view of a Bas-Saint-Laurent landscape — a way of bringing a bit of our home and roots all the way to Las Vegas. This kitchen featured our new Master oak ash Neolaminate paired with a ½ inch compact surface countertop, creating an area of elegance that inspires tranquility. Appliances were carefully concealed, contributing to the minimalist movement of the space. And what to say about the back kitchen, where attention to detail really comes to life with our doorless Curio that lights up the room.

The Modern Farmhouse Kitchen

As the second space of our booth, we wanted to demonstrate the breadth of Miralis’s offerings, mixing traditional style with a touch of modernity. This kitchen highlights our shaker-style doors paired with our new European Laminate Akène Assyrtico, where the inside of the cabinets matches the exterior to evoke the look of a solid wood kitchen. The space's functionality was designed for a large family, giving everyone room to participate in cooking. Our new Noir Kafé Lino color found on the two large islands adds warmth to the room.

The Luminescence Space

Once again showcasing our high-quality engineered material, the Noir Kafé Lino, this back kitchen also introduces our new product, Luminescence. The aim of this area was thus to allow visitors to our booth to discover our LED lighting solution. Designed by Miralis, this lighting product is integrated directly in the factory into the cabinets, offering a unique, functional, and refined solution for your living space.

Contemporary Escape by the River

A true highlight of the booth, this kitchen won the hearts of many visitors. It showcases our high-engineered wood veneer, Chaga Walnut, a durable material that resists UV rays and maintains its color over the years, ensuring lasting beauty. The bold use of compact surfaces enhances the design: Dekton Sabbia extends from the countertops to the TV wall and even wraps around the hood, creating a visual continuity that defines a decidedly contemporary ambiance. Every detail is designed to inspire and captivate, reflecting modernity.
