The Chardonnerets home. Inspired by the architecture of large, mid-century bungalows, this new split-level home is located in a wooded area by a mountainside. Its ‘60s vibe and natural surroundings have influenced the choice of materials for the rebuild of this kitchen, while maintaining its decisively contemporary style. A complex assembly of porcelain panelling drapes the island and storage spaces on all three sides right down to the floor so as to highlight the superb veining of the countertop.
